I've compiled a killer gift guide for Mother's Day! It's coming up next weekend on Sunday, May 9.
Sons and daughters order those gifts and keep an eye on the delivery date! Spouses, Baby Daddy's you better help the kids pick something Mom wants! Moms forward this list on with a HUGE HINT or just buy something for yourself!

This Tater Tot & Egg Bake is just the breakfast dish I've been looking for. It's large enough to feed a group and really simple to make. It's meatless but would be great with a side of crispy bacon. The arugula salad takes the flavors from normal breakfast right to expensive brunch, don't eliminate the salad! Make this Tater Tot & Egg Bake with + crispy bacon or a can of cinnamon rolls for your next holiday breakfast or long weekend. Use the remaining OJ for mimosas! Figs and Flights Video #32 is Snacks from Buc-ee's!
Buc-ee's is a Texas institution. It's a chain of gas stations and travel centers with world records including world's largest convenience store and the world's largest car wash. Sit down with Bryce (aka Mr. Figs and Flights) and I to try Buc-ee's snacks. We try the signature Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets plus the cheddar cheese, bold and sorta spicy, sea salted caramel, cinnamon sweet, and chocolate covered varieties! And, of course, fig jam. Hop on the Magical Express from the Orlando Airport to your Disney Hotel. Slap on your Magic Band and head to the hotel pool. Grab a Mickey shaped waffle and let's get into it. This video takes you to three Disney hotels: Coronado Springs, Art of Animation, and the brand new Riviera. You'll enjoy a sunset dinner at Topolino's Terrace and a ride above the magic on the brand new Disney Skyliner. There's so much Disney material here at Figs and Flights! Start here for blog posts and here for videos. For Disney food specifically whet your appetite here at WDW or here in Epcot. Getting dining reservations at Walt Disney World should be considered an Olympic sport. When I saw an opportunity for dinner for 2 at Topolino's Terrace at the brand new Riviera Hotel I jumped on it!
My sister in law, Renee, and I enjoyed a spectacular sunset dinner while our husbands and her kids entertained themselves at Disney Springs. Topolino's Terrace was hands down the very best Disney meal I've ever had. It's French and Italian cuisine and Topolino means little mouse in Italian, a nod to Mickey himself. My only regret is that I didn't save room for dessert! |
