I've compiled a killer gift guide for Mother's Day! It's coming up next weekend on Sunday, May 9. Sons and daughters order those gifts and keep an eye on the delivery date! Spouses, Baby Daddy's you better help the kids pick something Mom wants! Moms forward this list on with a HUGE HINT or just buy something for yourself! I dug deep in my Amazon history for gifts we've bought for both my Mom and Bryce's Mom. Then I surveyed all of the items that I have and love. My shopping recommendations are my own and I'll tell ya my personal experience with each and just what I love about each item. I helped my Mom (and Dad) adopt a puppy this month! You're welcome and I still got ya a gift, Carol xoxo. For the Luxury Seeking MomsI am the luxury seeker, but I'm also hesitant to spend the big money. These are tried and true items for the Luxury Seeking Mom, bring on the LUX for Mamma! I will never live without a silk pillowcase again. Silk pillowcases are said to be good for your skin (your face is laying on it for hours) and and for your hair (prevents frizz, curly girls!). The best part is that they make you feel like a damn QUEEN when you lay your tired head down at the end of a day on a soft, silk pillowcase. Luxury, ahh. I bought one to see if it was worth the price. I bought a second silk pillowcase shortly thereafter to match our other color of sheets, I'm that obsessed. This is a great gift and something Mom may not buy for herself. Mom deserves good pillowcases! L'occitane is the very best French skin care brand. What could be more luxurious than a set of almond scented oils and lotions. My mother-in-law loves a spa-kit-situation and Bryce was buying her some off-brand wrapped in colorful cellophane. No, honey, get your Mom the good stuff from France. This SOL DE JANEIRO Brazilian Bum Bum cream is lotion that smells like happiness, sunshine, and the beach. It transports you magically via the scent of coconuts. This premium beauty product will make any woman feel like a sun goddess. I want to wear this every day and smell like happiness, sunshine, and the beach. For the Earth Saving MomShe's trying to save Earth and take care of the whole family! Get her something she can reuse all year round, you know her hippy heart will love it. I am enthusiastic about Stasher bags they replace your ziplock bags. I use them all day long and I have probably 20 Stashers. I've got them in the freezer (waffles in one, bananas in the other), in the pantry (half a bag of popcorn), in my coat pocket (dog treats). I'll stop there. These are worth every penny. With roughly 20 bags over 4 years only 2 have ever actually worn through or broken. Bees Wraps are great. They're a swap for tin foil or plastic wrap. I use Bees Wraps often for storing sandwiches and for topping bowls. They're super easy to clean and use. I do still use foil & plastic wrap but wayyyy less often. My favorite reusable straws (and I've tried them all) are these stainless steel straws made by U Konserve. I use them all day long for sipping H2O, iced tea, and cocktails. For the Disney MomsI want this Mickey cheese board & knives! How funny that humans and mice love cheese. Once you're the adult who's into Disney you have to decide where to draw the line. I'll have Disney decor in my house but only if it looks nice and and isn't kitchy. This cheese board and knives are so pretty, very useful, and just casually Mickey. Bryce and I are both waffle-people, sorry pancakes. When our old waffle iron was expiring we upgraded to this Mickey waffle iron. I've always wanted the waffle iron that flips like they do at an expensive buffet! This iron does, makes 6 mini waffles at once, and the cute factor is off the charts. If you know a Mom who loves breakfast and Mickey, your search is over. Bryce and I have the exact same air pods so we needed to be able to know which ones are ours. I made this as easy as possible by dressing my headphone case up like Minnie Mouse. Bryce has never stolen them or mistaken my air pods for his own. Success! These cheaper ones from Amazon (vs Disney store) have held up great for over a year with one bow-being-glued-back-on repair. For the Dog MomsI became a dog-Mom just three years ago and I quickly learned that having good gear is key. Bryce and I are humans who are always going somewhere and thus Jameson is a dog who's always going somewhere. These travel food storage and collapsable food & water bowls are great for a dog on the go. We always bring one of the bowls for water for long walks. What's nice is that we can keep Jameson hydrated straight from our own water bottle. Plus the lightweight bowl clips to his leash and dries quickly (very important to avoid bowl drops splashing on you, ew). The food storage is perfect for taking weekend trips with the dog or when he spends time with friends while we're out of town. It's all one piece and it closes neatly and securely. Add the bowls and your pet is all set. Ha! I wish I had a Chuck It three years ago. I am kicking myself for allowing myself to ever touch my dog's favorite and filthy tennis ball for three years. I do use said favorite ball with the Chuck It, instead of the ball it comes with. Any ball can be used, size permitting. Be better at fetch, humans! I got the book I Could Chew on This for my Mom within the past year, when our old doggo wasn't doing so well. If you're a dog person in any stage of life you'll love the reminder of the lessons we learn from our pup and how crazy we sometimes feel to live with animals in the house. For the Rest Obsessed MomsWhat's more important than sleep? It's why Mom is always stressing about your bedtime! She's really onto something, though. Get the Rest Obsessed Mom something from this list and send her to bed early! I'm salt lamp obsessed. There's none cuter than the salt lamp night light. I keep mine in the bathroom for spa vibes. This would also be nice in a bedroom or kids room for a little zen. Bryce got me this weighted blanket for Christmas and we fight over it daily. It's such an experience to relax or sleep under one of these, I highly recommend it for all human beings. It's great for watching your favorite TV show, after a long day or a rough workout. Bryce picked this one because the cover comes off and it can easily be washed. Smart, Mr. Figs. As a rest obsessed person I really love bedtime. This lavender moon body & pillow spray takes a bedtime routine to a scented new level. It's so nice and leaves just a light scent to get ya in the sleeping mood. Pacifica is a great brand (cruelty free and vegan, uses recycled plastics). I love their mascaras, face wash, and the lavender moon lotion, too! For Book Worm MomsThe Mom who loves to read is a smart one, isn't she? Play to her keen intellect with any of these gifts and, for Pete's sake give her some peace and quiet so she can read. Need more book ideas? Visit my collection of Best Books from 2020. If she loves reading and profanity these socks are made for her. I bought myself a pair first, then we sent them as a gift to a relative! This Oprah book What I Know for Sure has changed my life. The chapters are quick and easy to read. You could read it all at once or just a few pages at a time, it wouldn't matter. With all her fame and fortune Oprah has such a way of capturing the simple things in life and reminding you to do so, too. There's nothing like a fight at bedtime about lights on vs. lights off. The readers know this struggle! Bryce demanded I let him sleep and I upgraded from a dewalt head lamp to a proper book light recently, everybody wins! This one is great: rechargeable, three light settings, and clips to your book. Thanks for Mother's Day shopping with me. I hope the day is enjoyable for you regardless of your Mom-status.
