Irish Hospitality {event} on May 17

Tonight is the very first Figs and Flights {event}, Neapolitan Pizza! I'm so excited and ready to get the (pizza) party started.

Today is also the first day to get your tickets to next month's event, Irish Hospitality on Friday, May 17. 

From now until May 3, tickets are $38. From May 3 until May 13, or until tickets sell out, tickets are $44 each. The early bird gets the soda bread, that's what they say!

Why Ireland?

A short list of reasons:

1. I am part Irish
2. My husband is part Irish
3. We met in an Irish pub in Honolulu, Hawaii
4. Ireland was one of the two countries we visited on our honeymoon
5. It's where we fell in love with Jameson which is now also the name of our dog.

Here in Seattle we frequent another Irish pub, Shawn O'Donnell's, on most Saturdays during college football season. They've got amazing food (HELLO Irish mac and cheese with smoked salmon) that's better than any we'd had in Ireland. They serve Guinness the best way, with black currant liqueur, and they always, always have Jameson Irish Whiskey.
