Figs and Flights {events}

I am so excited to share Figs and Flights {events} with you, Seattle. 

I have a few goals for these events:

• Food: To share and celebrate great food
• Travel: To connect travelers with far away places via the destination's unique and local cuisine
• Community: To create a space for people who love food, travel, or both, within Seattle where we come together to MELT the Seattle freeze. We'll share conversation and food, enjoying each others' company, and make honest plans to do it all again!

Why?

The majority of my career has been spent planning and managing events for others. It's time for me to use those skills for my own events, connecting travel, this blog, and other hungry, travel loving humans in Seattle.

Once I discovered that Bumble BFF, a dating app for finding friends, was a real thing I decided it was finally my time to do my part to help others in Seattle make connections with real people in real life.

When and Where?

We'll begin on Friday, April 12 with Neapolitan Pizza, from Italy, at Tutta Bella South Lake Union. 

We'll follow up on Friday, May 17 with Irish Hospitality at Shawn O'Donnell's Fremont. 

There are Facebook events for each occasion: Neapolitan Pizza in April and Irish Hospitality in May.

Tickets for the April event will so on sale next week, on Friday, March 29. Tickets for May will launch in early April. The cost of your ticket includes entry, dinner, and dessert. Drinks can be purchased separately. There will be giveaways!
