Fav 5 Travel Guides are a short list of the best things I've found to do, see, eat, or drink in a particular location. This guide is the first of two for New York City, New York. Look no further for part 2 of New York City and more posts about Travel in the USA. We've just wrapped up a four day visit to NYC! We ate and drank to our hearts desires and walked until our feet could hardly take another step. Relive the very best of the City with me.

I'm getting ready for my very last trip of 2019, a visit to New York, New York and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
My husband, Bryce, and I are spending 3 days exploring in NYC before we head to my hometown of Pittsburgh for 5 days, for Christmas! Follow Figs and Flights on Instagram and Facebook to watch the trip unfold. The motto at Figs and Flights is "life fueled by food and travel." {Life and Links} are my lists for creating the best life, delicious food, and comfortable and smart travel. Themes vary seasonally, include tips and tricks, and my favorite items. It's the stuff that's so good I need to share it with you. Here's what I want you to know about the things I'm recommending to you:
So you've booked an international flight, you're doing it!
Now what happens, how do you even begin to prepare? {Let's See Seattle} is where you can find the very best parts of the city of Seattle. The great eats, gorgeous spots, and weirdest attractions of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest overall come to life right before your eyes. Recent {Let's See Seattle} posts include Seattle for Kids and What to Eat at T-Mobile Park. Now we're covering Seattle for Seasoned Visitors, just in time for your Thanksgiving and Christmas friends and family from out of town. It is officially the holiday season! You've probably got family and friends visiting you in Seattle soon. If they've already been here a time or two they've seen the Space Needle and the gum wall already. Here's a list of adventures to seek out with Seasoned Seattle Visitors! Take a Ferry Boat to Bainbridge IslandHawai`i was my home for 5.5 years. The Aloha State is abundantly gorgeous, the weather is nearly perfect, and the aloha spirit is truly unique. If you're missing Hawai`i or preparing for a visit you'll want to catch up with Hawai`i {What to Say}, Hawai`i {What to See}, and Hawai`i {What to Eat}. The main event from our recent trip to Palm Springs, Disneyland, and Oahu was our third and final destination. We spent 8 glorious days in Hawai`i on the island of Oahu.
We spent four days in Honolulu, two days at Ko Olina, and two days on the North Shore. Here I'll outline the best of the best at each location. We spent our days running around outside and eating as much as we could. You'll see how we spent our time outdoors with "Stay in the Sunshine", where and what to Eat, and how to Revisit History. |
