Fav 5 Travel Guides are a short list of the best things I've found to do, see, eat, or drink in a particular location. This guide is for Long Beach, California. We snuck out of the wintery gloom in Seattle for a long weekend in Long Beach, California earlier this month. Myself, my husband Bryce, and our great friend Lauren walked, scootered, and explored all over the city!
This Travel Guide highlights the best parts of our trip and where you should stop if you make a visit to Long Beach. And no, we didn't see Snoop Dogg but we did sing "with so much drama in the LBC" often!

I've dreamt about an escape from Seattle's February gloom since we moved here six years ago. This year we are FINALLY doing a February escape to sunshine!
We headed to Long Beach, California for a long weekend. Fav 5 Travel Guides are a short list of the best things I've found to do, see, eat, or drink in a particular location. This guide is for Palermo, the city located on the Italian island of Sicily. Look no further for more posts about International Travel and guides for Rome and Naples, Italy. In 2014 my husband and I took our honeymoon trip to Italy and Ireland. We started in Rome, journeyed through Naples, then took a ferry boat to Sicily. This Travel Guide will take you to the Sicilian city of Palermo.
My family originated from a nearby town which we didn't visit on this trip. Being in Sicily was amazing and so special for me. It was hotter than hell when we visited in August and we loved the vibe of the island of Sicily. The rumors that Sicily is not like mainland Italy are totally true, from what we saw! We loved the food, the sweets, and the adventure best. Join me for a little tour of Sicily! Catching flights is one of my favorite things to do. Over the years and airline miles I've learned a thing or two about how to make the journey more enjoyable. Fav 5 Travel Guides are a short list of the best things I've found to do, see, eat, or drink in a particular location. This guide is the second of two parts for New York City, New York. Look no further for the first New York City Fav 5 and more posts about Travel in the USA. Last week I created a Fav 5 Travel Guide for New York City based on our visit in December.
There is SO SO SO much to see in NYC. You can never do or see it all. We didn't have time for a broadway show and we opted to skip the World Trade Center and 9-11 memorial this time to keep our visit cheerful! The original New York City Fav 5 Travel Guide is great but it left so many places and things unmentioned. I'd been thinking about a Part II for NYC and here it is, my traveling friends. It's got some of the most famous sites in the city, a few classic NYC food items, and more. |
