I just spent a week in Central Texas with my husband, Bryce, his brother, our sister in law, and our niece (age 10) and nephew (age 4). They're new to Texas and we were their first visitors!

They were excited to show us around their new stomping grounds and I'm giving you the very best, the "Fav 5", of our trip.

Central Texas - Fav 5

1. Hunt down a Buc-ees - everything is bigger in Texas including the gas stations & convenience stores.
2. Visit Historic Gruene - this charming old town is perfect for spending a relaxing day.
3. Spend a day on the water - we loved Canyon Lake or float any of the Texas rivers.
4. Explore Austin - Texas' capitol city is filled with adventures
5. Relax with family - yoga, playing in the sandbox, and a spa day!
