The Packed Lunch Project is part of my daily at home life. It's my best habit for eating well, saving money, and preserving my sanity. I pack a lunch, take a photo, and post it on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #packedlunchproject. When I don't pack a lunch I'll spend too much money on take out, Uber eats, or on a grocery store visit. Often times I'll get caught up in working and I won't think about what to get for lunch until it's 2:00 pm and I'm too hungry to decide on what to eat, paralyzed by too many choices, and I end up eating JUNK. This project helps me to stay motivated to keep packing and I hope it helps you to gather ideas and inspiration for delicious lunches, as well. No matter the reason why you want to pack your lunch more often, I invite you to join me. Last year I did a giveaway for The Packed Lunch Project and it's time to do it again! I've just returned from my 5th trip since the beginning of 2019 and I'm ready to get into a good routine of packing lunch every day for the summer spent in Seattle. Let's do this! 1. Pack Your Lunch with MeIt can be homemade food, store bought goodies, and restaurant leftovers. The contents of your lunch are up to YOU. The goal is to take great care of yourself and your time by preparing your lunch in advance. Maybe you want to eat more veggies, save money for a trip, or waste less food. Do you aim to pack lunches everyday or once a week? Will you pack for 5 days on Sundays or build a lunch for the next day every night before you go to bed? It doesn't matter if you work from home, at an office, on a job site, or in a cave. Get that lunch ready before you're buried in your daily work load and it'll count. 2. Photos + FollowsUpload a photo of your lunch to Facebook or Instagram. Tag Figs and Flights in the photo or caption and use the hashtag #packedlunchproject in the text. Follow all four partners in the packed lunch project giveaway on Facebook or Instagram. Instagram: Facebook: 3. Win PrizesEvery day and photo is a chance to win! The window to participate begins today, May 29, and closes on Friday, June 14 at 5 pm PST. That's 16 days/chances to win. Three lucky winners will take home prizes from Spudsy Foods, Seattle Gummy Company, and Stasher Bag. Spudsy makes Sweet Potato Puffs in flavors like BBQ, cheddar, and cinnamon. Think of a Cheeto and Pirates Booty combined but with better ingredients and you've got yourself a new favorite snack! I discovered Spudsy and supported the kickstarter campaign last year and I'm so excited to share these crunchy, tasty puffs with you. Seattle Gummy Company is changing the way we consume our vitamins, caffeine, and more. Their mocca shots are loaded with caffeine and made for busy folks who need a little energy boost in their day but don't have the time or taste buds for a hot cup of coffee. The Salted Caramel Chocolate flavor is brand new and each gummy is equivalent to two cups of coffee. Between packed lunches and caffeine gummies, your daily productivity is about to be taken to the next level! Stasher Bags are my favorite packed lunch project assistant. They're reusable silicone bags that will eliminate your need for ziplock bags. The newest Stasher bag is this adorable pocket size and you'll love it for a handful of Marcona almonds or M&Ms! Prize DetailsThere are nearly $70 in prizes to be won! Three winners will take home a prize. The SECOND PRIZE (estimated value of $17.99) is 1 pocket Stasher bag, 2 packs of Seattle Gummy Co. Mocca Shots, and 1 bag of Spudsy Sweet Potato Puffs. The FIRST PRIZE (estimated value of $22.49) is 1 pocket Stasher bag, 2 packs of Seattle Gummy Co. Mocca Shots, and 2 bags of Spudsy Sweet Potato Puffs. The GRAND PRIZE (estimated value of $26.00) is 1 pocket Stasher bag, 2 packs of Seattle Gummy Co. Mocca Shots, and 3 bags of Spudsy Sweet Potato Puffs. The fine print, from the Figs and Flights legal teamJust kidding, it's still me/Angela!
