For ten days I had the honor of feeding sweet Kenzie Faye and her Mom Emily. Four year old Kenzie was recovering from her first chemotherapy treatment. Here's where you can read more about Kenzie Faye's Fight with cancer. I don't know a thing about medicine or cancer. I do know all about sharing love via FOOD so I was excited to be in charge of feeding the girls. See more of our time in Spokane in this video (first) and that one (second). Because we had to be super careful about exposure to GERMS (both Covid and cancer) I created a week long meal plan for the three of us. I placed a grocery order for a no-contact delivery straight to our apartment and we lived off of that food without any trips to the store. The menu and list was a success for us and I BET you can use something like this for a long weekend with away with friends or your next family vacation. Print my list and add your favorite items, too. Kenzie is four and eats like a kid. She had just lost weight due to her illness and getting food into her body was the priority. She could eat whatever she wanted whenever she wanted to, a kid's dream! Cheddar chips and root beer for breakfast? Anything you want, Kenz. She ate meat and you'll see that the kid food does include meat. Emily isn't a picky eater at all. She eats meat yet LOVES seafood so eating pescatarian was great for her. Family Meals for a Week
