This year I visited Paris for a second time. My first trip was far too short and I never made it to the Louvre which I regretted immediately. The Louvre, the world's most-visited museum, is home to the infamous Mona Lisa painting and a must-see while visiting Paris.
First, let's start with a few tips to make the most of your travel. When visiting a huge and popular destination like the Louvre, here are your steps to success:

In Figs and Flights {Video 39} join me for a day in Disneyland Paris. You'll see all of the classic Disney sights: the castle, Main Street, lands, rides, and Mickey shaped foods!
This was my second visit to Disneyland Paris, what a dream. The day gets unexpectedly dramatic with a POSITIVE Cov test result in the middle of an otherwise perfectly magical day. Relive our trip to Paris, France with Bryce (Mr. Figs and Flights) and I.
We visited in 2018 and LOVED Paris. Enjoy our hotel room view of the 9th arrondissement, our first glimpses of the Eiffel Tower and the light show there, a bike tour of the city, Disneyland Paris, a cooking class, French pastries, macarons, and more. Disneyland Paris met, and exceeded, any expectations I had of it. It was just as magical as the parks in the US, yet still uniquely Parisian. I told you all about my favorite parts of the park in the post Disneyland Paris - Fav 5 {Travel Guide}. Now I want to talk specifically about Disneyland Paris and the similarities and differences between it and our parks at home (meaning Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida). Put your mouse ears on for another magical stroll though the Parisian park! Jessica, aka the Bucket List Family Mom, said that "Main Street felt like home" while still being very Parisian and I couldn't agree more with her statement. Gee family please adopt me!
Once upon a time, my husband actually agreed to go to Paris with me. Somehow, someway, he also agreed that spending a day at Disney was a great thing to do! All day we compared and contrasted the experience with our previous park trips. Here's the deal... Two things that I LOVE are Disney and traveling. When visiting Disneyland Paris became a real possibility in my life I had to make it happen! Once we booked our trip to France and my husband, Bryce, was convinced (the real magic!) to spend a day at Disney, the very next steps I took were buying park tickets and making our dining reservations. Enjoy my 5 favorite things from the magic of Disneyland Paris, via this 'Fav 5' Travel Guide. If you ever find yourself in Disneyland Paris, I hope you'll enjoy visiting the best parts from my visit. Disneyland Paris is about an hour's train ride outside of Paris proper. The park was originally called Euro Disney and it was the second Disney park to open outside of America, just after Disney Tokyo. Once I saw the Bucket List Family visit Disneyland Paris I knew I had to go! This was my first time visiting a park outside of America, while I've been to both Disneyland, in California, and Walt Disney World, in Florida, several times.
There are two parks making up the Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. My husband and I spent one day hopping back and forth between the two parks. Of all 5 Favs, only the Ratatouille ride and restaurant are from Walt Disney Studios Park. The other 4 are from Disneyland. We considered staying at the Disneyland Hotel but the cost was nearly $1,000 per night! |
