Merry Christmas! It's such a day for celebration. Yesterday we had a great day in Seattle with my family. We started with homemade breakfast: fried egg and cheese sandwiches with hummus, roasted garlic sweet potatoes, and sautéed zucchini, spinach, and tomatoes. Mom and Bryce made pumpkin roll. We walked to the park, got some fresh air, and played a little basketball! The main event of our day was attending Christmas Eve mass. Our Church is really beautiful and was so, so crowded. After mass we cooked the salmon from Pike Place Market seasoned with some stellar spices from Market Spice: a generous amount honey lemon rub and a tiny bit of alderwood smoked sea salt. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and hope you did, too! Advent is over and Christmas is here :)
