We're so close now, friends! Yesterday we went shopping at Pike Place Market and to a show. I'd never been to Pike Place so close to Christmas before and it's even more charming than usual. The market was heavily crowded with people, locals and tourists alike, from what I can tell. The holiday bouquets were beautiful! Our main objective was to get the remainder of the groceries for Christmas dinner. Actually shopping for fish makes the market even more fun! Delaurenti, the Italian grocer, was the busiest store and the funniest environment! Me and many other Italians stood patiently waiting for sliced meats, cuts of cheese, and fresh pasta. We were all quite friendly by the time we made it to the front of the long line, we were trading cannoli recipes and tips. I couldn't help but laugh at, then snap a pic of, the collection of designer handbags resting near the ham. Later on in the day, we went to the 5th Avenue Theater for a show. When my parents arrived the other day, tickets to the Little Mermaid were waiting for them in their Christmas stockings. The show was incredible and we had a blast! We had a nearly perfect day, prepping for Christmas then enjoying a night out.
