This Christmas we're staying in Seattle. Bryce and I will celebrate with my parents, plus my Uncle, plus a new friend who just moved to Seattle (and also went to Penn State, of course). With the exception of said new friend, everyone else is staying with us! We've got the room and are looking forward to the excitement. Of course, there's plenty of preparation going on for a Christmas dinner for 6, plus meals and snacks in the meantime. Yesterday was all about making a list for meals and groceries, then stocking the house, pantry, and fridge for our guests. Checking it twice is optional! We managed to remember our reusable bags, coupons, and get to the store at 6 pm when it wasn't too crowded! Here's what we stocked up for:
Plus, all of the staples like wine, yogurt, 3 types of milk, tea, and so on! We still need to hit Costco, another grocery store, and Pike Place Market for various things, but we're well on our way to Christmas cuisine. What's on your holiday menu?
