Spend 38 hours in Tokyo, Japan via Figs and Flights!

We're visiting for a 1.5 day layover and doing as much as we can in. Tokyo. From Japanese baseball to a hedgehog cafe with eating, shopping and sightseeing in between.

Per usual I'm sharing every detail: where we stayed, what we did, and even what we packed and wore.

Hotel Metropolitan

We loved our brief stay at Hotel Metropolitan. The hotel is centrally located and has breakfast onsite.

The bathroom technology wow-ed me so much I was filming in my shower cap! The mirror didn't fog up above the sink even after a scalding hot shower.

Lunch at Okonomiyaki Kiki

Our lunch was at Okonomiyaki Kikji's location in the Sky Building. The food is cooked right there on your table, but prepared in the kitchen before it's brought to you :)

Imperial Palace East International Gardens

Beautiful flowering trees, rose gardens, temples and more await in the Imperial Palace East International Gardens. We loved touring the gardens and listening to the audio tour.

Shopping in Ginza

Tokyo's Ginza area has high-end shopping on a street with no cars, it's a dream!

Buying Luxury items in a foreign country saves you from paying the taxes on it, FYI.
