I love theme parks and have been to the Disney and Universal Studios parks in both California and Florida. This post covers {the food} at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California. Here's where to find more about {the rides} at Universal Studios Hollywood. If you're looking for Universal Studios in Orlando I've got you covered. See more California parks here. Welcome to {the food} at Universal Studios Hollywood!
Universal Studios does dining well and quickly. You can't make reservations for meals in advance and the process to order, eat, and clean up is both fast and efficient! Let's get right to it...

This is the second of several posts on our days in the parks of Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. I'm doing a recap of each day, the park we visited, where and what we ate and drank, the very best parts of each, and what we'd do differently or skip altogether for next time. If you're visiting Figs and Flights for the first time, please stay a while and take a look around. Start here if you're looking for all things Disney. Universal is often dismissed as the non-Disney park and called things like "that other park in Orlando." While perhaps less popular than Disney, at first, Universal Studios is where the MAGIC of Harry Potter lives. I know dozens of adults who are "too cool" for Disney but will talk to you about Harry Potter for hours. I've been lucky to travel with people who agree with me that visiting Universal is equally as important ad Disney while spending time in Orlando.
During our recent trip, we spent our second day in Orlando at Universal Studios. Join us and relive the whole day! While I aspire to travel all around the globe I also LOVE visiting the Disney parks. This year has been an amazing one for me, having visited Disneyland Paris, Disneyland in California, and now Walt Disney World in Florida. There are plenty of Disney posts here at Figs and Flights. Start with the Disney Parks Basics and Decoding Disney {A Guide} if you're new to the MAGIC and keep exploring using the Disney page. Last week I enjoyed a magical vacation to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, with my husband and his family. We spent 6 days in sunny Florida and visited the Disney parks plus Universal Studios. Here's the overview of our visit, before I dive into the details. This will explain the basics of where we stayed, what we did, and the parks we visited. It will be a great start for helping to plan your Walt Disney World (WDW) vacation! |
