I've just returned from my first ever international girls trip! Cassie, my friend of ten years, and I met in Paris for a week. There ate, drank, explored, shopped, and lived our very best lives. I feel so lucky to be able to travel as often as I do so I know I've got to pass along the travel tips I'm collecting along the way. Today I've rounded up the items which proved to be the most helpful during my week in Paris. Enjoy this list of girls trip must haves. Please send it to your travel buddies to get your next trip planning started! Here's everything you absolutely need for your international girls trip:

Dig through my Trader Joe's Favorite items with me. We're talking TJ's kitchen towels, peanut butter cups (and almond butter cups), 99 cent cards and more!
Enjoy a long weekend in Seattle with me. We go from kids activities and yoga to a great meal in a historical dining room. Plus we do a little shopping in between! Figs and Flights Video #23 takes you to the Oregon Coast and Tillamook Creamery.
Just 4.5 hours' drive from Seattle is the beachy town of Manzanita, Oregon. We rented a great house right on the ocean with our friends and all of our dogs and spent our most of our visit relaxing. Enjoy the calmness of being near the sea and our big outing to the Tillamook Creamery where we toured, learned, then ATE. You'll see all of the Tillamook cheese and even a nice use of the ice cream. We all LOVED the Oregon Coast and you will, too. Fav 5 Travel Guides are a short list of the best things I've found to do, see, eat, or drink in a particular location. This guide is for the Oregon Coast. For more from the Pacific Northwest (PNW) check out the Let's See Seattle series with posts like Seattle for Kids and Seattle for Seasoned Visitors. Because we're moving back to Hawaii, Bryce and I have constructed a bucket list for things to do in the PNW while we're still here.
Visiting Oregon was on that list. We decided on Manzanita because it's closer (to Seattle) than Bend, it's on the ocean, and because of the nearby Tillamook Creamery! We visited Manzanita with our dear friends Lauren and Nate plus our dog (Jameson), and their two dogs (Dexter and Bailey)! We took our second and final trip of this very Covid summer last week. It was my second visit to Texas and Bryce's first. Don't miss the corresponding {Travel Guide} for Central Texas for things to do and more about Buc-ee's! Check out the Austin, Texas - Fav 5 {Travel Guide} for more good eats and Texas sized fun. Bryce (my husband) and I traveled to Texas to visit with his brother, our sister in law, and our niece and nephew for some quality family time and for Bryce to help with and learn from some house flipping projects.
We spent a week in Central Texas and ate like kings and queens! We spent most of our time in New Braunfels, where our family lives, with jaunts into San Marcos and Austin. This delicious list of {the food} in Central Texas will make your mouth water. Each item contains a link to the restaurant or brand and many of the producers sell their goods all over Texas. |
