Hi, I'm Angela. My hair is really curly and my interests include food, traveling, and talking non-stop. Although my words here are written (typed, actually) they revolve around delicious foods and all types of travel.
Figs are one of my most favorite things to eat and my obsession with food is all-consuming. I happily share with you the best places I've found, from the hidden eateries in Seattle's famed Pike Place market to the coolest gelato in Italy. My kitchen is my at-home sanctuary and the note worthy recipes won't be kept a secret.
Flights are another passion of mine and a frequent topic of conversation. Traveling it's good for the soul, regardless of the journey's distance or destination. Flying is the best way to go, in my opinion. When road trips are necessary I make a terrible (read: sleepy) co-pilot, my favorite sea-sickness medication stays in my purse at all times for the slight chance a boat is the only way to go, a. I've called Pennsylvania, Hawaii, and Washington (state, not D.C.) home and have been to Italy, Ireland, Greece, Mexico, and Canada, so I'm no stranger to airports and you bet I can pack a mean carry on bag or TSA approved baggie of liquids.
In real life you can find me in Seattle, Washington, planning and managing other peoples' events. Generally I'm sneaking hors d'oeuvres in the catering kitchen and anxiously waiting for my vacation days to accrue. At home I enjoy experimenting in my own kitchen, planning my next vacation, and reading. My husband loves when I cook but hates when I blog because dinner takes way too long. Our cat Bagheera hates flying and loves food. She constantly thinks she should be fed more, and right meow.
